Role Overview
This contract role is for a remote video annotation specialist who will label short video clips by detecting recurring events, marking their precise time ranges, and writing short, consistent notes that describe what appears in each event.
Compensation & Commitment
The pay rate is between $65 and $80 per hour. The expected workload is flexible, ranging from 10 to 40 hours each week.
Work Location
This position is open to candidates based in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Key Work
- Spot repeating events in short-form video content and separate them according to the project rules.
- Record accurate beginning and ending timestamps for every event you tag.
- Write brief, clear, and uniform descriptions for each labeled event.
- Keep submissions aligned with strict quality and consistency expectations.
- Coordinate with the team through written and spoken communication to resolve unclear cases and confirm requirements.
- Self-review your annotations and update them as project instructions evolve.
What We Need
- Strong English fluency at a native level, both in writing and speaking.
- Prior experience in video annotation, content moderation, writing, video editing, videography, or a similar field.
- A sharp eye for detail and a strong commitment to highly accurate labeling.
- Comfort working with detailed annotation instructions and adjusting quickly based on feedback.
- Experience on AI training initiatives or machine-learning data annotation projects is an advantage.
