UX Designer

Role overview

This is an entry-level UX Designer opportunity with Educación Ejecutiva Ágil en HR, offered on a part-time basis and structured as a hybrid role in Sydney, New South Wales. The position combines in-office collaboration with work-from-home flexibility.

What you will do

You will help shape user-focused digital products for learning and HR use cases. The role involves contributing to research, turning insights into user journeys, and supporting the creation of wireframes and low- to mid-fidelity prototypes.

On a regular basis, you will work alongside product owners, subject matter experts, and developers to clarify requirements, refine design concepts, and make sure the experience reflects learner and client needs. You will also take part in design critiques, collect stakeholder input, and help record design rationale, patterns, and guidelines.

In addition, you will support UX artifacts such as journey maps, personas, and basic usability testing plans that help improve products and services over time.

Qualifications and capabilities

The role calls for a solid understanding of user-centered design, including UX fundamentals and design thinking approaches. You should be able to assist with user research activities such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing, and convert findings into practical design recommendations.

You should also have a good grasp of visual design principles like layout, typography, and hierarchy, along with familiarity using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Experience building wireframes and interactive prototypes at low to mid fidelity is important for communicating concepts and flows clearly.

Candidates should currently be completing, or have recently completed, a degree, certificate, or bootcamp in UX Design, Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a closely related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed so you can explain design choices to people outside the design team.

This role suits someone who pays close attention to detail, responds well to feedback, and shows a growth mindset. An interest in education, HR, or learning technologies is a strong advantage, and any prior exposure to those areas will be considered a plus.
