Tunnels Manager (O&M)

Role Overview

Qatar Building Company (QBC) is recruiting a seasoned Tunnel Operations & Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation and upkeep of major tunnel infrastructure assets in Qatar. This position calls for a leader who can manage tunnel systems, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with project and authority standards.

Core Responsibilities

The role is focused on guiding tunnel operations and maintenance functions, supporting infrastructure reliability, and handling managerial oversight for complex tunnel projects. The selected professional will be expected to bring hands-on knowledge of tunnel construction methods and strong familiarity with local authority requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is required.
• You should bring 10 to 12 years of relevant experience overall.
• A minimum of 5 years must be spent in a managerial capacity.
• Practical exposure to TBM, NATM, Cut & Cover, or Drill & Blast methods is necessary.
• Prior work on Ashghal projects is mandatory, along with a solid understanding of Ashghal standards and procedures.
• Experience on GCC infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Applicants must currently be based in Qatar and available for an in-person local interview.
