Travel & Accommodation Advisor

Role overview

Aeris Resources is seeking a permanent full-time Travel & Accommodation Advisor to support its Tritton Operation in Nyngan, New South Wales. In this role, you will help keep mine-site operations running smoothly by coordinating travel, lodging, rosters, and site logistics for employees, contractors, and visitors. The position is focused on delivering safe, timely, efficient, and cost-conscious workforce movements.

You will work alongside HR, Operations, Recruitment, Village Management, and external travel partners to organise flights, transfers to site, room allocations, and movement of personnel with a high level of accuracy and service. The role also supports mobilisation, onboarding, roster changes, and day-to-day operational continuity.

Key duties

• Plan and coordinate travel arrangements for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Manage accommodation bookings and allocations for the workforce.
• Organise site transfers, flights, and other transport-linked logistics.
• Support roster changes, mobilisation, onboarding, and workforce movement planning.
• Work with internal teams and external providers to keep logistics aligned with operational needs.
• Provide responsive and professional customer service to stakeholders.
• Handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy.

What you should bring

• Hands-on experience in travel coordination, administration, or accommodation management.
• Strong planning, organisation, and time-management ability.
• Comfort working in a busy operational setting with competing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Current Australian manual driver’s licence.

Desirable experience

• Background in mining, FIFO, or remote operations.
• Experience with travel booking and workforce management systems.
• Understanding of mining rosters and mobilisation processes.
• Exposure to accommodation forecasting and workforce logistics.

About the operation

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Production began in 2005, and the operation is fully owned and run by Aeris Resources. The site is moving toward a hub-and-spoke model, with ore transported to a central mill for processing.
