Role Overview
The Territory Sales Manager - Projects will lead sales efforts for painting solutions within the projects segment in Bengaluru. This position is centered on building business with developers, contractors, architects, PMC firms, and institutional buyers while managing the territory pipeline, strengthening client relationships, and supporting revenue growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across the projects market, including developers, contractors, and institutional customers.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals for painting solutions.
- Promote product specifications by working closely with architects, consultants, and project managers.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders such as developers, contractors, architects, and project management consultants.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and tailored solution proposals based on client needs.
- Work to ensure high customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Monitor competitor moves, pricing trends, and wider market developments.
- Share territory insights with marketing and product teams to support localized campaigns.
- Track upcoming projects and build a strong sales pipeline for future conversion.
- Coordinate with execution and operations teams to support timely project delivery.
- Manage collections and follow company credit guidelines.
- Keep accurate records of sales calls, client interactions, and project status in CRM systems.
- Contribute to performance outcomes such as target achievement, market share growth, new account activation, customer satisfaction, repeat business, and timely collections.
Requirements
- Graduate or postgraduate qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- About 25 years of experience in sales within building materials, paints, coatings, or other construction-related sectors.
- A well-developed network of developers, contractors, and architects within the assigned territory.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Capability to work independently and handle several projects at the same time.
- Comfort with MS Office tools and CRM software.
