Holovis is looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead complex, guest-facing technology projects in Riyadh. The role centers on delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards across AV, software, networks, controls, and show systems for themed attractions.

• You need to manage risks and interdependencies effectively, including coordination with third-party subcontractors and making timely decisions that safeguard results.
• Strong communication is essential, especially when working with technical clients and Holovis engineers and technicians at different levels. You should be able to challenge constructively, explain trade-offs clearly, and keep stakeholders reassured throughout delivery.

Experience that typically fits this position includes technical project management in AV and show systems, automation, manufacturing, rail, aerospace, defence, construction, energy, medical, or telecoms environments.

Role expectations

This position calls for a technical project manager with a real engineering foundation. You’ll be expected to keep the schedule moving while staying closely connected to the technical detail. Comfort with engineers, early identification of technical risks, and asking the right questions are key to success.

• Lead technical projects end to end with ownership of scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Create and maintain baselines, manage change in requirements, deliverables, and acceptance criteria, and keep risks and tasks under control.
• Use planning tools such as MS Project and JIRA on a regular basis to build schedules, monitor delivery, support forecasting, and assist with project invoicing.
• Hold an appropriate engineering degree.

What you will learn

• You will gain exposure to themed entertainment delivery, including integration workflows, show-critical thinking, and commissioning in show environments.
• You will learn how AV, controls, networks, and software come together as a show system, and how to apply strong delivery practices in this specialist field.
• You will become familiar with Holovis delivery methods, including HPMS project management processes and HSMS sales management processes.
• You will work with client-specific procedures, including strict governance, documentation standards, and technical specification review and approval workflows used on major programmes.

Core responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation through commissioning and handover, ensuring scope, budget, timelines, and quality targets are met through effective planning, reporting, and change control.
• Take ownership of risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating early and driving mitigation actions to protect project outcomes.
• Coordinate a highly skilled technical team by planning resource use, setting achievable goals, and keeping delivery momentum to meet milestones.
• Communicate difficult messages early and tactfully while maintaining productive working relationships with clients and internal colleagues.
• Handle stakeholder expectations through accurate reporting, forecasting, and project invoicing aligned to scope and approved changes.
