Supply Planning Strategy Associate

Role overview

This position is based at the Hyderabad office within APAC PSC GDOP. The role sits in Procter & Gamble, a company with more than 180 years of history and brands such as Ariel, Tide, Pantene, Pampers, and Gillette. What you will do

• Run the end-to-end supply planning cycle, including inventory planning, demand requirements planning, production scheduling, and material planning.
• Set and maintain finished goods inventory goals by SKU, using service-level expectations, forecast accuracy, and replenishment lead times.
• Track and deliver business KPIs such as customer fill rate, inventory performance, and cost objectives.
• Act as a key point of coordination among stock replenishment, operations, and logistics teams.
• Spot, address, and escalate supply-chain risks such as manufacturing issues, material shortages, or sudden demand spikes.
• Lead projects that affect supply-chain performance, including new product introductions and capacity growth initiatives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to shape and implement continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications and skills

The ideal candidate should have a solid grasp of supply-chain principles, including norms, inventory management, and initiative execution. Experience with SAP APO and SAP ECC modules such as MM, PP, or SD is preferred. Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is needed. The role also requires professional communication in English, both spoken and written, for different audience levels. Candidates should be comfortable in a matrix environment, capable of managing multiple stakeholders, and able to solve problems analytically using data. Familiarity with digital tools like Power BI, KNIME, or RPA is an added advantage. FMCG experience is considered a plus.
