About the Role
This position is for seasoned quantitative professionals who want to help improve AI models. You will collaborate with advanced systems on work such as reviewing AI-produced quantitative analysis, tackling technical challenges, and sharing feedback that influences how these models approach data, modelling, and scientific reasoning. Candidates from fields like data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, and other quantitative disciplines are encouraged to apply if they have a strong analytical approach to data and models. Some people take on this work alongside another full-time job, while others make it their main focus.
How Selection Works
After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the screening step. If you are successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid assignments will then become available through the platform.
Contracting Benefits
- You can decide which projects to accept and when to work on them.
- The work can be done on your own computer, on your own timetable, from home.
- Hourly pay begins at USD 50 to USD 100+, and some projects may include bonus pay.
Responsibilities
- Check AI-generated quantitative outputs for correctness and practical relevance, including statistical analysis, predictive modelling, scientific reasoning, and data-based insights.
- Create and solve quantitative tasks that help train and evaluate AI systems in areas such as forecasting, experiment analysis, optimisation, and statistical inference.
- Prepare precise technical explanations and maintain well-structured analytical code.
- Share feedback that helps improve the next generation of AI tools for quantitative reasoning.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a quantitative role or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a related area.
- Prior coding experience is required, along with the ability to write and review analytical code from start to finish.
- Practical knowledge of statistical techniques, predictive modelling, and experiment design, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
- Strong English fluency at a native or bilingual level, plus excellent writing ability.
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject is preferred, such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar discipline; a master’s degree or PhD is an added advantage.
- Additional credentials such as a Kaggle ranking, AWS/GCP ML certification, or comparable proof of expertise are considered a plus.
