Spa Concierge

Role overview

Mandarin Oriental, Doha is seeking a Spa Concierge to support the Spa team. The property is an elegant city retreat in Msheireb Downtown Doha, close to Souq Waqif, the Museum of Islamic Art, and the West Bay business district. The broader group is known for luxury hospitality, distinctive service rooted in Asian heritage, and a portfolio of high-end hotels, resorts, and residences worldwide.

Key duties

In this role, you will help keep the spa and wellness operation running smoothly across front-of-house, guest areas, retail spaces, and treatment support functions.

• Support daily operations across spa and wellness zones, including reception, salon and barber reception, retail areas, boutique, consultation lounge, spa suite arrivals, thermal and changing facilities, tea lounges, and fitness/wellness areas.
• Keep changing rooms, toilets, showers, relaxation spaces, fitness areas, spa suites, and pool areas clean, orderly, and hygienic in line with Safe, Sound, and Sustainability standards.
• Assist therapists by preparing treatment rooms and tidying up after services.
• Ensure lockers are always supplied with fresh linen and collect used linen for removal.
• Manage appointment flow effectively so time and revenue are optimized while guest needs remain the priority.
• Work collaboratively with spa and hotel colleagues and provide support wherever needed.
• Carry out opening and closing procedures as required.
• Maintain a solid understanding of Spa Soft, the full range of spa and wellness treatments, and all retail products.
• Use professional telephone manners and follow the required call-handling etiquette.
• Present yourself in a polished, punctual, and professional way at all times.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant will have at least one year of experience in a service-oriented environment. A senior school qualification or an equivalent credential is required. Candidates who have attended hotel school are preferred. Experience in a five-star hotel setting is a plus, as is prior work experience in the Middle East. Strong computer literacy is also necessary.
