Role Summary

The Senior Team Manager will lead a self-managed, cross-functional group responsible for receiving birds and processing poultry products efficiently. The role is centered on meeting internal customer needs while working within agreed performance targets and ensuring that all output complies with product specifications, quality controls, and safety requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Guide a multi-skilled team to handle bird intake and poultry processing operations effectively.
• Ensure products are produced in line with defined specifications and quality expectations.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and operational standards throughout the process.
• Support performance improvement by identifying ways to reduce cost and raise service levels.
• Coordinate with leaders, peers, and team members across a multicultural environment.
• Create a strong team culture and help improve employee productivity.
• Train staff for assigned tasks and support workforce development across different functions.
• Contribute ideas for plant changes and process improvements where needed.

Required Profile

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, food sciences, or poultry-related disciplines, and bring 3 to 4 years of experience in an ISO/HACCP-accredited rendering plant that supplies EU-categorized products. Practical understanding of meat processing and meat rendering operations is essential, along with hands-on exposure to food safety systems and audits. Strong spoken and written English is required.
