Senior Frontend Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience building and scaling reliable frontend systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Angular and ReactJS, along with excellent debugging ability and a sharp focus on performance optimization. In this position, you will play a central role in shaping high-quality frontend experiences that support the company’s goals, while working effectively in a fast-moving environment and taking strong ownership of outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop advanced frontend applications with deep hands-on experience in Angular.
• Create reusable UI components that align closely with design specifications.
• Help evolve the platform using modern tools and approaches so it remains scalable and future-ready.
• Partner with Product and Design teams to deliver user experiences that are intuitive and effective.
• Apply a strong understanding of frontend performance topics such as TTFB, Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, and related measurement tools.
• Review code carefully to uphold strong engineering standards and code quality.
• Build feature-rich interfaces based on product and design requirements.
• Work with product and design stakeholders to recommend the best implementation approach for new features.
• Integrate analytics tools such as Amplitude and Google Analytics to help understand user behavior and improve the product experience.
• Write and maintain solid unit and integration tests where appropriate.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve complex technical problems efficiently.
• Improve performance through proactive analysis, code reviews, and ongoing optimization efforts using observability tools.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
• Coordinate with backend engineers to ensure APIs are robust and well aligned with frontend needs.
• Contribute to agile delivery practices and help improve engineering processes continuously.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry developments, and suggest useful tools and practices for the stack.
• Support the technical direction and roadmap for backend-related services as needed.
• Work with SSR and SPA implementations.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience in frontend engineering.
• Strong command of Angular, with additional experience in ReactJS.
• Solid understanding of frontend performance optimization.
• Experience using Storybook to collaborate across functions.
• Good grasp of codebase architecture, code organization, and design patterns.

Preferred Experience

• Prior exposure to fintech or proptech environments is an advantage.
• Additional programming languages or frontend frameworks are a plus.
• Experience with ReactJS and React Native is beneficial.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic setting and is comfortable taking extreme ownership of their work.
