Senior Accountant

About Us

Satyam Services, a dynamic UK-based company, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our accounting department. This role offers a fantastic chance for a seasoned accounting professional located in Ahmedabad to contribute to the financial operations of an international business while working remotely. You will collaborate closely with our UK management team, playing a vital part in maintaining precise financial records, generating essential reports, and ensuring adherence to all relevant accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Conduct thorough bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Generate monthly management accounts and detailed financial reports.
• Provide support for VAT reporting and other UK financial compliance obligations.
• Assist with payroll administration and the management of expenses.
• Support the preparation of year-end accounts and prepare extended trial balances.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Possession of a CA, MBA, or ACCA qualification.
• A minimum of three years of professional accounting experience.
• A robust understanding of bookkeeping and fundamental accounting principles.
• Demonstrated experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or comparable systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
• Capacity to work autonomously in a remote setting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
