Role overview

This position is focused on growing cement sales by winning bulk supply business and managing important customer accounts. The role represents the company to institutional buyers, dealers, and project leaders, using product expertise and strong negotiation ability to spot opportunities, stay ahead of competitors, and make the brand the preferred option for major regional works.

Key responsibilities

Speak directly with customers and close sales agreements in line with company rules and policies.
Track sales goals and nurture customer relationships to build steady, profitable business.
Work with customers to protect volume movement on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Make sure sales are allocated appropriately across segments, territories, and customer sizes to support profitability.
Review customer credit exposure every day to prevent supply interruptions.
Work with the finance team to understand customer financial positions and keep business operations smooth.
Ensure sales administration and dispatch teams understand customer needs, delivery points, unloading schedules, and related requirements.
Handle and resolve customer complaints.
Collect market intelligence on customers and competitor activity.
Study market trends, including project activity, price movements, customer behavior, and market shifts.
Maintain strong, long-term relationships with current customers so pricing policies can be applied effectively.
Stay connected with prospective customers and closely monitor their dealings with competitors to identify new business opportunities.

Experience and education

A bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, or Science is required. The role expects 5 to 7 years of experience in the cement industry.

Technical capability

Solid understanding of cement and concrete products, including grades and practical uses.
Knowledge of mix design basics, setting behavior, strength testing, and applicable quality standards such as ASTM, IS, or EN.
Ability to diagnose common site issues such as cracking, curing concerns, and strength variation, and provide first-level technical guidance.
Understanding of demand forecasting to avoid shortages at dealer points or project sites.
Awareness of bulk and bagged logistics, freight economics, and storage or handling requirements, including moisture protection.
Experience assessing creditworthiness, managing credit limits, and supporting collections to protect cash flow.
Ability to evaluate pricing, deductions, discounts, and dealer incentives to improve margin per metric ton.
Comfort using CRM tools to manage leads, pipeline progress, and client records.
Familiarity with ERP systems for order entry, shipment tracking, and live inventory checks.
Strong Excel-based analysis skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, for sales and market review.

Soft skills

Ability to build trust-based, long-term client relationships.
Strong coordination skills for working with Finance, Sales Administration, and Dispatch teams.
Effective complaint-handling and problem-solving capability.
Clear communication skills for finalizing commercial agreements within policy limits.

This is an on-site role based in Fujairah Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
