Role overview
Owner is a remote-first, worldwide company based in San Francisco, with a sales hub in Toronto. While some positions are flexible on location, this role is designed for in-person teamwork and requires working from the downtown Toronto office five days per week.
Owner.com is hiring a Sales Development Representative to strengthen its revenue organization. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about helping small businesses expand, has strong sales performance behind them, and knows how to build genuine trust with restaurant owners.
What you will do
- Respond to warm inbound leads, keep prospects engaged, and help sustain a healthy pipeline that supports revenue growth and broader market expansion.
- Converse with potential customers and gather their insights to refine sales and marketing efforts so the product better reflects market expectations.
- Partner with teammates to improve the inbound SDR motion and contribute ideas that shape the wider sales strategy.
- Keep learning by working alongside the sales team, sales leadership, and colleagues from other functions.
- Consistently exceed your quota while also supporting teammates and contributing to the company’s success.
What the company is looking for
- At least 1 year of experience in software sales, with SMB SaaS sales preferred.

Pay and benefits
The role offers a starting compensation package of CAD 75,000 OTE, including a CAD 60,000 base salary and CAD 15,000 incentive pay, along with uncapped commission. A pre-IPO equity package is also included.
