Retail Banking Officer

About the Role

The RBS MPT unit is part of the RBS Cards & Personal Loans sales channels and supports existing as well as prospective Emirates NBD customers across the UAE with their Credit Card, Personal Finance, and Bank Account needs. The team is focused on expanding the bank’s market share in credit cards, personal finance, and account acquisition, in line with broader business goals.

In addition, the unit works to onboard new companies onto the bank’s approved employer list and strengthen those relationships to drive deeper penetration of retail banking products. Where needed, the role also supports cross-selling of other retail banking offerings to help grow sales, revenue, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell credit cards, personal finance products, and bank accounts within the retail banking segment.
• Recommend and cross-sell other bank products whenever required.
• Represent the bank professionally while explaining products, services, and related processes to customers.
• Maintain service quality in line with bank standards to deliver a strong customer experience.
• Work according to the bank’s approved policies and procedures.
• Capture and report customer feedback, market insights, and any other information or process inputs needed by the unit or the bank.

Education

• Graduate or high school qualification.
• MBA or BBA preferred/accepted.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 2 years of banking or retail sales experience in the UAE.
• Strong sales and marketing ability.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
