Role overview
This position focuses on building and managing relationships with trade and high-value MSME customers in the Greater Kolkata Area. The role is centered on supporting working capital needs, trade finance requirements, customer growth, and ongoing portfolio management across the full customer journey.
Key responsibilities
- Acquire and manage trade and high-value MSME customers, especially for working capital solutions.
- Address customer needs for pre-shipment and post-shipment finance limits.
- Handle the full customer lifecycle, including acquisition, onboarding, portfolio management, activation, and attrition control.
- Grow trade income by expanding wallet share across both newly onboarded and existing trade accounts.
- Bring in new trade customers and high-value liability customers.
- Support trade transactions and help ensure smooth straight-through processing.
- Promote treasury products such as forwards and options to trade clients.
- Deliver cash management services to customers.
- Perform due diligence on customers and transactions to meet AML and regulatory requirements for trade business.
- Track and lower compliance pendency related to bills of entry and export bills.
