Quality Analyst (Fraud)

Role overview

This full-time Quality Analyst role is based fully onsite in Cork, County Cork, Ireland. The position is focused on fraud and fintech quality assurance, with responsibility for strengthening quality standards, improving performance, and supporting team development through audits, coaching, and process analysis.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 11:30 to 20:00, although these hours may change. The role offers a gross annual salary of €38,500 plus a performance bonus. The planned start date is 27 July 2026.

What the role involves

You will help maintain and raise quality across the operation by reviewing work, identifying gaps, and guiding team members toward best-practice handling based on client rules and risk procedures. The role also involves close collaboration with Team Leads, Training, Quality, and management teams to support individual performance and wider operational improvement.

Key duties

• Carry out quality audits and accuracy checks.
• Support team members with live case handling, quality queries, tool usage, risk assessment, and response accuracy.
• Lead coaching and feedback conversations to help individuals build core capabilities and improve performance.
• Share honest performance feedback and recommendations with management.
• Keep accurate records of performance activity.
• Prepare support materials and offer training assistance when needed.
• Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly updates and reports.
• Organize quality workshops and training sessions where required.
• Work with Team Leads and colleagues to identify training, performance, and quality needs.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will already have experience in quality assurance and in spotting fraud within banking, fintech, or broader financial services. Strong knowledge of transaction types such as ACH, cheque, debit card, credit card, and domestic or international wire transfers is important, along with a solid understanding of KYC, AML, and risk assessment practices.

You should also bring excellent organization, time management, analytical thinking, communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach.
