Role Overview

Based in Singapore, this on-site role is for a proactive Project Manager focused on innovation initiatives. The position blends project delivery, business analysis, and business development, with responsibility for identifying innovation opportunities, shaping business cases, coordinating cross-functional execution, and driving measurable results.

The role calls for strong analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and the ability to guide projects from idea stage through implementation while working closely with stakeholders.

Business Analysis & Innovation Strategy

• Spot and evaluate digital and innovation opportunities that support business goals.
• Create persuasive business cases and financial models to justify new initiatives or technology adoption.
• Convert business needs into clear functional specifications that teams can act on.
• Assist business development efforts by identifying prospective clients, partners, and growth opportunities linked to innovation work.

Project Management & Coordination

• Lead innovation projects across teams and stakeholders to keep work aligned and moving forward.
• Prepare project plans, monitor milestones, manage risks, and ensure delivery on time.
• Oversee project budgets and use resources efficiently.
• Use Agile, hybrid, or conventional project management approaches depending on the assignment.
• Support the rollout of pilots, digital solutions, and technology integration efforts.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, to align priorities, collect input, and encourage adoption.
• Run workshops, presentations, and demonstrations to build understanding and support.
• Serve as a reliable advisor to senior leaders by sharing data-based insights for strategic decisions.

Execution & Impact

• Take initiatives from concept through completion while keeping focus on business outcomes and return on investment.
• Track key performance indicators, spot blockers, and introduce process improvements.
• Document learnings and suggest improvements for future projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in project management, business analysis, digital transformation, or innovation-focused work.
• Background in business development, writing business cases, and working with clients or partners.
• Exposure to rail or transportation sectors is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with an emphasis on business impact.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex, cross-functional projects.
• Comfort using project management tools and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving, multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of Agile practices and innovation frameworks is preferred.
