Role Summary
The Production Planner will coordinate site-wide maintenance planning and scheduling activities to help meet overall equipment effectiveness targets. This position also handles administrative tasks, supports production prioritization, and contributes to improving scheduling efficiency and reducing downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full maintenance planning and scheduling process across the site to support OEE goals.
- Carry out administrative duties tied to the planning function.
- Lead routine performance meetings with production stakeholders to align and prioritize planned work.
- Develop clear standard work instructions covering both scheduled and unscheduled production activities.
- Apply structured problem-solving and PDCA methods to strengthen planning processes and lower downtime.
- Support site-wide quality compliance and environmental programs.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and at least 3 years of experience in the field or a related area are required. The ideal candidate should already be familiar with the common concepts, practices, and procedures used in the profession.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certification in Project Management and an advanced Microsoft Excel credential are preferred.
