Overview
Canva is hiring a Product Manager to lead the EMEA region as its first dedicated product owner for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This role will shape a long-term regional product vision and act as the main product contact for the region. The focus is on making Canva feel genuinely local through better onboarding, region-appropriate payment options, localized experiences for different user groups, and partnerships that support local content.
Work location and setup
This position is based in London, England, United Kingdom. The London campus is presented as Canva’s Europe hub, with multiple buildings around Hoxton Square in Shoreditch, shared spaces for teams and communities, front-of-house support, on-site meals, and different work areas for collaboration or focused individual work. Canva emphasizes flexibility in how and where work is done, while still expecting teams to collaborate effectively.
What you will do
- Own the EMEA product roadmap and set a multi-year strategy that keeps the product experience relevant across languages, onboarding journeys, payment flows and local content.
- Spot and prioritize high-value regional opportunities by combining user research, qualitative feedback and data-driven analysis, then turning those findings into scalable product decisions.
- Work closely with Growth, Marketing and Content partners to align regional priorities with global initiatives and help successful ideas spread across the wider company.
- Act as the link between regional needs and global product teams, bringing EMEA insights into company-wide planning and helping global roadmaps reflect local realities.
- Advocate for localized, user-first experiences by sharing market insights that encourage empathetic product thinking and a truly local approach.
- Develop launch strategies for new EMEA markets by coordinating product readiness, localization, go-to-market planning and operational execution.
What the team is looking for
- Demonstrated product management background with ownership of product strategy and experience working across multiple functions.
- Experience launching products in European markets, ideally including Africa, MENAP, Türkiye, Germany, Poland or Czechia, with an understanding of the cultural, commercial and user differences across these regions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build alignment and relationships across global teams while balancing strategy and hands-on execution.
- Comfort working in uncertain environments, solving complex problems and using first-principles thinking to guide product choices.
- Strong focus on users, with curiosity about behaviour, friction points and what creates a great experience for diverse audiences.
- Background in both consumer and business contexts, with evidence of improving engagement and growth.
Benefits
- Equity packages so employees can share in Canva’s success.
- Inclusive parental leave for all parents and carers.
- An annual Vibe & Thrive allowance for wellbeing, social connection, office setup and similar needs.
- Flexible leave options to rest, recharge or contribute back to the community.
