About the Internship
This internship offers the opportunity to work closely with a Y-Combinator-backed startup that leverages deep learning to automate document processing for the insurance sector. The selected process associate will focus on validating and ensuring the quality of extracted document data to optimize workflow accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections on extracted data to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Assess various use cases and operational workflows as part of the data validation process.
- Cross-check extracted information against original documents to identify discrepancies or missing elements.
- Ensure adherence to established quality standards and efficient turnaround times.
- Maintain detailed records of findings, anomalies, and quality concerns encountered during evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide constructive feedback aimed at refining data extraction models and workflows.
- Assist in assessing and validating operational workflows and requirements to enhance overall process effectiveness.
Candidate Eligibility
- Must be available for a full-time, in-office internship in Bangalore starting between July 20, 2026, and August 24, 2026.
- Commitment to a 6-month internship duration is mandatory.
- Relevant skills and a keen interest in the domain are required.
- Computer Science Engineering students are preferred; however, fresh graduates seeking career opportunities may apply.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- 0 to 1 year experience in quality assurance, data validation, operations, or related fields.
- Prior experience or interest in the insurance domain is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong detail orientation and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while meeting deadlines.
- Quick learner with effective problem-solving skills.
- Basic competency in Microsoft Excel, including functions like VLOOKUP, or similar data review tools.
