Private Equity Analyst

Role Overview

This is a remote hourly contract assignment for a private equity specialist. The work is designed around supporting AI training by bringing real-world deal experience, commercial judgment, and financial rigor to the evaluation of finance-related outputs.

The engagement is paid at an hourly rate of $30 to $65, with an expected commitment of 10 to 40 hours each week.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply hands-on knowledge of private equity deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio oversight.
• Assess investment memos, financial models, and transaction case studies.
• Create believable private equity scenarios and decision frameworks to help train AI systems.
• Check AI-generated responses for correctness, business relevance, and strong financial analysis.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define effective approaches for reviewing financial documents.
• Spot gaps in domain coverage and suggest improvements based on industry experience.
• Contribute subject-matter expertise to improve the quality of AI training data.

Requirements

• Substantial background in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or another closely related finance function.
• Strong command of valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and exit planning.
• Excellent analytical ability with comfort interpreting complex financial information.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills.
• Proven credibility and leadership within the private equity space.
• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong quality orientation.
