Role overview
SA Power Networks is seeking experienced Powerline Workers who are open to relocating to South Australia and building their careers with one of the country’s leading electricity distributors. This position is based in field crews across metropolitan and regional areas, with opportunities in Adelaide, Barossa Valley, Clare, Seaford, Wingfield, Mount Barker, and Elizabeth.
What you will do
In this position, you will help maintain, repair, and restore the overhead and underground electricity network that supports communities across South Australia. The work is hands-on and field-based, with a mix of planned maintenance and urgent response duties.
- Carry out planned and reactive work on the electricity distribution network.
- Respond to faults and help restore supply quickly and safely.
- Complete maintenance tasks and network upgrade activities.
- Support emergency response work when required.
- Work as part of a crew across metropolitan and regional locations.

Requirements
Applicants should be qualified and experienced powerline professionals who can work safely and collaboratively.
- Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Powerline, or an equivalent qualification.
- Current unrestricted full driver’s licence.
- Electrical Workers Licence.
- At least 2 years of post-trade experience.
- A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Additional information
Starting base salary is AUD 101,494 plus additional allowances.
