Role Overview

This position is based at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel By Tivoli in Doha, Qatar. The hotel sits within Minor Hotels’ broad international portfolio, which spans more than 530 properties across 50+ countries in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe, and South America, under brands such as Anantara, Avani, Elewana, Oaks, NH Hotels, NH Collection, nhow, and TIVOLI.

What You Will Do

You will support the hotel’s engineering upkeep by carrying out preventive maintenance tasks according to the property’s maintenance plan. The role also requires keeping workspaces tidy after each job, handling hotel-issued tools responsibly, and storing them properly at the end of each shift. In addition, you are expected to contribute to the hotel’s energy-saving efforts and share practical cost-reduction ideas whenever possible, not only within the engineering team but across the property where relevant.

Qualifications

Applicants should have formal training from a technical or vocational institute. Prior experience of around one year in a hotel engineering department is required, along with solid knowledge of civil works or plumbing fundamentals.
