Role overview
We are looking for an Auto Body Refinish Prepper to join a collision repair team in Statesboro, Georgia. This position is focused on preparing vehicles for refinishing so the final repair meets pre-accident standards and insurance requirements.
What you will do
- Carry out surface preparation work, including masking vehicles, applying primer, and preparing surfaces for top coat application.
- Apply primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats, and clear coats as required for the repair process.
- Handle anti-corrosion restoration, identify substrates, mix products correctly, and apply materials accurately.
- Inspect bodywork and prep quality to help ensure a high-quality paint finish.
- Thoroughly sand, mask, prime, and prepare each vehicle before refinishing.

Compensation details
This is a flat-rate position paying $18 to $21 per hour-equivalent flat rate, with performance tied to booked hours. If total pay in a pay period falls below the applicable minimum wage, clocked hours will be adjusted to guarantee the higher of local or state minimum wage. Pay is based on skill, education, and experience.
