Role overview

This position serves as the lead crew member responsible for the receipt, storage, inspection, movement, and upkeep of U.S. Air Force munitions and related site resources. The role also includes operating Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS) and MC2, guiding assigned Munitions Technicians, and making sure work follows the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

Key responsibilities

  • Assess crew members’ technical abilities against established standards and provide training where required.
  • If qualified, load and unload munitions shipments, move them to and from flightline holding areas, and transport munitions in support of daily departmental operations.
  • Act as the link between Crew Members and Munitions Supervisors.
  • Serve as an entry controller when required.
  • Work the hours needed, including standby duty, to meet mission needs during peacetime and contingency operations.
  • Handle other assigned duties as needed.
  • Work in office, maintenance shop, or warehouse settings, and be prepared for extended outdoor work.

Requirements

  • Intermediate understanding of USAF Supply, TMO, Munitions, and Technical Order systems, or an equivalent system used by a U.S. service.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to operate material-handling equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license from the home country and the ability to obtain a host-nation license.
