About the role
Christchurch Airport brings together people, places and experiences, and the marketing team helps communicate that story. This opportunity is for a Marketing Coordinator to join the organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract. It is well suited to someone who wants to strengthen their marketing career in a supportive setting.
The position is practical and varied, with a mix of digital and offline work. You will help deliver customer-focused, well-organised, and on-brand campaigns and content across a range of channels.
Key responsibilities
- Act as an initial contact point for the team and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including agencies and suppliers.
- Support the planning and coordination of campaigns, promotional materials, signage, and media placements.
- Maintain digital channels such as the website, social media accounts, and email marketing activity.
- Assist with event-related work.
- Run projects from the initial brief through execution and post-delivery review.
- Keep processes, budgets, and administrative tasks organised and on track.

What you will bring
- A customer-centred approach and genuine interest in people, places, and experiences.
- Approximately 2 or more years of marketing experience, or equivalent transferable experience.
- Strong writing ability and the confidence to produce content for varied audiences and channels.
- Comfort working with digital marketing tools and platforms, especially social media and email marketing.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to handle several deadlines at once.
- A proactive, positive, and collaborative style, with a willingness to support wherever needed.
- Experience with Campaign Monitor, Wrike, or Tealium would be an advantage.
