About the Organisation

Role Overview
As Manager Regulatory Affairs, you will help drive the organisation’s advocacy and policy programme. The position involves partnering with sector leaders, regulators, and government representatives to influence policy direction, prepare submissions, and champion member interests on important regulatory matters.
Core Duties
- Track changes in regulation and public policy and assess their impact.
- Prepare policy documents, briefing notes, and formal submissions.
- Take the lead in coordinating responses to consultations.
- Assist member committees and encourage active participation.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with regulators and other stakeholders.
- Support the organisation’s wider strategic advocacy agenda.
Candidate Profile
- Experience of 3 to 5 years in policy, regulatory affairs, or advocacy-related work.
- Good knowledge of New Zealand’s regulatory landscape.
- Strong written communication, analytical ability, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable balancing several priorities while bringing different views toward agreement.
Location and Working Model
This role is based in Auckland or Wellington and is offered on a full-time hybrid basis.
