Role Overview
This role focuses on managing import procurement activities for multiple plants, with responsibility for sourcing import parts, coordinating suppliers and logistics partners, and keeping costs under control.
Core Responsibilities
- Aggregate the import parts demand across all plants and translate it into procurement plans.
- Negotiate prices and delivery timelines with suppliers to meet operational needs.
- Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth movement of goods.
- Support cost reduction efforts while maintaining inventory balance and quality standards.
- Manage sourcing activities and supplier relationships for import procurement.
Candidate Profile
- Strong negotiation ability with solid analytical thinking.
- High attention to detail, especially for documentation and compliance requirements.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Working knowledge of global trade regulations, Incoterms, and logistics processes.
Education Requirement
Diploma in any specialization or B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization.
