Role Overview
The Manager of Demand Planning Allocations will lead regional allocation strategy development and execution for a global fragrance portfolio, ensuring plans stay aligned with the overall demand forecast. The role is focused on improving visibility into regional and account-level sales, producing recurring allocation-versus-sales analysis, and working closely with Supply Planning, Sales, and other partners to strengthen service levels, inventory movement, and demand plan execution.
Work Arrangement
This is an in-office role from Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage regional allocation splits so they stay aligned with the global demand plan for the fragrance portfolio.
- Track sales performance by region and account to evaluate demand shifts and allocation effectiveness.
- Compile and circulate monthly reporting that compares actual sales against the allocation plan, calling out risks, gaps, and opportunities.
- Work closely with Supply Planning and Sales teams to align assumptions, priorities, launch timing, and execution across regions and key customers.
- Design and recommend allocation approaches that support business objectives, strengthen service levels, and improve demand planning outcomes.
- Review regional and account demand signals to spot supply limitations, imbalances, and necessary plan changes.
- Deliver clear reporting and analysis to help guide decisions across brands, launches, customers, and channels.
- Build allocation plans for upcoming new brands.
- Handle allocation and planning responsibilities for Ferragamo, Ungaro, and Cavalli in the U.S.
Experience and Education
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is required. The role calls for at least 3 years of experience in demand planning, allocation, supply chain, or inventory planning. Background in Beauty, CPG, or Luxury environments is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong ability to analyze data, spot patterns, and turn findings into practical actions.
- Advanced Excel capability, along with experience using planning, forecasting, or ERP tools.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for working across Supply Planning, Sales, Marketing, and other functions.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and the ability to meet recurring deadlines in a fast-moving setting.
- Working knowledge of demand planning, allocation, forecasting, and inventory control processes.
- Understanding of fragrance, beauty, luxury, or consumer goods planning cycles, including product launches and seasonal demand changes.
- Ability to balance commercial needs with supply constraints across brands, customers, and regions.
- Experience creating recurring business reports, dashboards, and performance analysis.
- A continuous improvement mindset focused on planning accuracy, service quality, and process efficiency.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 and $110,000, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications. The role also includes bonus potential tied to individual and company performance, as well as access to robust healthcare, insurance, and other benefit programs.
