Role Summary
The Sales Lot Attendant at Volvo Cars Richmond supports dealership sales operations by keeping vehicles in the lot and delivery area clean, organized, and ready for customers. Reporting to the Sales Manager or another designated leader, this role helps create a polished customer experience through the presentation, arrangement, and readiness of inventory while contributing to a safe and orderly dealership environment.
The expected compensation for this role is $21.95 per hour.
Key Duties
- Keep all vehicles on the lot neat, clean, and ready for display.
- Make sure vehicles are detailed and properly prepared for customer delivery.
- Start vehicle engines at regular intervals to identify issues such as weak or dead batteries and recharge them when needed.
- Arrange inventory in a tidy and organized manner throughout the lot.
- Maintain cleanliness in the lot, delivery zone, and work areas by clearing away trash, debris, and clutter.
- Ensure the delivery area stays free of parked vehicles and other obstructions.
- Put away and organize supplies at the end of each day.
- In winter, remove snow and ice from vehicles, entrances, sidewalks, and dealership access points to support safety.
- Take on other operational tasks as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence for British Columbia.
- Ability to provide a current ICBC driver’s abstract.
- Comfortable working professionally and cooperatively with coworkers across departments.
- Ability to safely operate dealership vehicles and equipment.
- Strong focus on accuracy, presentation, and quality standards.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
