Position overview
Megger is hiring a Logistics Manager to take charge of the company’s full logistics network. The role focuses on making transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution run smoothly for electrical testing equipment and related products. The goal is to move goods efficiently, keep costs under control, ensure compliance, and maintain a strong customer experience across both domestic and international markets.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and improve the full logistics cycle, covering transport, warehousing, stock control, and worldwide distribution of Megger products.
- Handle inbound and outbound freight while balancing speed, cost, carrier choice, route planning, and service performance.
- Run warehouse activities such as receiving, storage, and order fulfillment while keeping inventory records accurate and control processes tight.
- Work closely with procurement, production, customer service, and global teams so supply chain plans stay aligned with demand.
- Maintain adherence to domestic and international shipping rules, customs documentation, and trade compliance requirements.
- Review logistics costs and performance data, then drive improvements, process efficiencies, and supplier negotiations.
- Guide, develop, and support logistics and warehouse staff, while setting KPIs and promoting safety and accountability.
- Track and improve delivery performance, resolve logistics issues, and monitor measures such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and shipment cost.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.
- Applicants should have 5–10+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse leadership.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering setting is needed.
- A solid history of managing both domestic and international logistics is expected.
- Hands-on knowledge of ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms is important.
- Understanding of global freight movement, customs rules, and trade compliance is required.
- The role calls for strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Candidates must be able to analyze logistics data and KPIs effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and supply chain analytics tools is needed.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Dallas, Texas. The position is focused on managing logistics for electrical testing equipment and related products while upholding quality, service standards, and compliance across all operations.
