Logistics Coordinator

Role overview

Tu Aliado Venezuela is hiring a part-time remote Logistics Coordinator to help keep daily logistics activities running smoothly. The position is centered on making sure goods and services move on time, with careful coordination across orders, inventory, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.

Key duties

• Monitor orders and follow their progress to support timely fulfillment.
• Keep an eye on stock levels and assist with inventory tracking.
• Work with suppliers, transport partners, and internal stakeholders to address delays, mismatches, or other operational issues.
• Maintain current logistics records and update information accurately in the relevant systems.
• Prepare simple reports covering shipment progress, inventory status, and service performance.
• Respond to customer questions about delivery timing and share clear status updates when needed.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to help improve logistics workflows and day-to-day processes.

Qualifications and working strengths

• Good analytical ability to review logistics data, spot patterns, and support decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication for working with suppliers, carriers, customers, and team members.
• Customer service mindset with the ability to handle questions and solve issues professionally.
• Hands-on familiarity with inventory control, including stock tracking, reconciliations, and basic demand forecasting.
• Understanding of supply chain basics such as order processing, shipping, and vendor coordination.
• Comfort using spreadsheets and logistics or ERP platforms, along with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Well-organized, detail-focused, and able to manage several tasks independently in a remote setup.
• Prior exposure to logistics, operations, or a similar area is preferred; vocational or post-secondary education is considered an advantage.
