About the role
Las Iguanas is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support the smooth running of its busy kitchen in Grays, England. You’ll help keep the kitchen organised, clean, and ready for service, making an important contribution to every shift.

What you’ll do
- Keep pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment thoroughly cleaned and sanitised.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and hygienic work environment throughout the kitchen.
- Clean preparation zones, ovens, grills, sinks, stoves, and other food-service equipment.
- Unload deliveries of food and kitchen supplies and place them in the correct storage areas.
- Ensure worktops, floors, and walls are cleaned and sanitised to the required standard.
- Assist chefs with basic preparation tasks such as peeling and washing ingredients.
- Keep fridges, freezers, storage spaces, and back-of-house areas tidy and well organised.
