Role Overview
Join a small, friendly catering team working at BAE Systems Broadoak in Hilsea, Portsmouth. BaxterStorey delivers food, beverage, and hospitality services on site, supporting breakfast and lunch service as well as a coffee bar, retail counter, and salad/deli bar for staff and management.
This opportunity is for an experienced Kitchen Porter who enjoys keeping a kitchen running smoothly, staying organised, and contributing to a high-performing team.
Working Pattern and Pay
The role is 34.5 hours per week. Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 06:30 to 14:30, and Friday from 07:00 to 12:00. Pay is £13.45 per hour.
Key Duties
You will support the kitchen team by keeping the back-of-house area clean, safe, and well organised. The role also includes assisting with basic prep tasks and helping with stock and supply handling.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant brings stamina, a strong eye for detail, and clear communication skills. Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a busy team.
