Kalkulator (m/w/d)

Position Overview

Ten Brinke Deutschland is looking for a Kalkulator (m/w/d) to join its Frankfurt branch. The role focuses on cost planning and tender preparation for turnkey construction projects, with a preference for residential building.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare project calculations across all areas of turnkey project delivery, with a focus on residential construction when possible.
• Create quotations together with the corresponding construction description.
• Maintain and update the calculation basis and key figures used for estimating.
• Review, assess, and evaluate tender documents.
• Develop bid calculations and support contract negotiations as well as award discussions with clients.
• Check incoming orders.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, bills of quantities, and cost estimates based on the tender documentation available.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities, risks, and potential cost increases, and work on claims calculations together with the operational project teams, including project management, planning, and work preparation.
• Develop alternative proposals and special solution concepts.

Requirements

• Completed vocational or academic training as a civil engineer or construction technician.
• Several years of professional experience in estimating/cost calculation or in the execution of technically demanding building projects in structural or turnkey construction is ideal.
• Strong command of standard MS Office tools and common estimating software, preferably IBIS-Trad.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• High level of technical and commercial understanding, together with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Commitment, team orientation, and an independent, motivated, and careful working style.
• German language skills at C1 level are required for this position.
