Role overview

This is a six-month fixed-term position within the Creative and Studio team. The role is designed to help produce polished, commercially effective imagery for eCommerce, campaign, and marketing use, while keeping every asset aligned with the brand’s visual standards.

As an entry-level specialist, you will provide practical retouching support for product and campaign visuals, helping the studio maintain accuracy, consistency, and speed as content demands grow. The position also offers scope to build specialist retouching expertise in a busy eCommerce setting.

Key responsibilities

Edit and retouch product, campaign, and lifestyle images in line with brand rules.
Make sure all visuals remain accurate, clean, and attractive without misrepresenting the product.
Use the same retouching approach consistently across all assigned assets.
Support image delivery across different projects and tight timelines.
Prepare visuals for website, marketing, and social media channels.
Check that files are in the correct format and match required specifications.
Assist with the production and upkeep of product imagery for eCommerce platforms.
Help prepare assets for launches and promotional campaigns.
Keep content organised and ready for handoff to the relevant teams.
Review images for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
Work to established retouching standards and visual guidelines.
Support senior colleagues in maintaining high quality across all content.
Identify and escalate image issues or inconsistencies when needed.
Help ensure consistency across product groups and campaigns.
Manage image files, folder structures, and naming conventions carefully.
Support smooth movement of assets between teams and systems.
Help with uploading, sorting, and archiving imagery.
Keep your workload structured and well organised.
Collaborate with Retouchers, Photographers, Stylists, and Creative teams.
Interpret briefs correctly and ask for clarification when necessary.
Take feedback constructively and implement changes efficiently.
Contribute to wider studio tasks during busy periods.
Develop your retouching ability through coaching and feedback.
Stay current with Adobe Creative Suite updates and relevant industry practices.
Continuously improve speed, precision, and attention to detail.
Take ownership of your own learning and technical growth.
Support improvements to studio processes and best practice.

Requirements

Some prior experience in retouching, photography, creative production, or a related creative qualification.
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
Strong eye for detail and a clear commitment to quality.
Genuine interest in photography, retouching, and visual content creation.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistency.
Good organisational and time-management ability.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Comfortable managing several tasks and deadlines at once.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Interest in eCommerce, fashion, jewellery, or lifestyle brands.
