Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Payroll Officer to support Mauritian payroll operations for clients in Curepipe, Plaines Wilhems District, Mauritius. The role focuses on accurate salary processing, statutory compliance, and day-to-day payroll support within a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Run local payroll accurately according to the agreed payroll schedule.
- Make sure client salaries are paid correctly and on time.
- Support the payroll team with regular operational tasks and administrative follow-up.
- Assist in configuring payroll systems for newly onboarded clients.
- Prepare and submit monthly statutory filings to the MRA and MNS.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working with Sicorax Payroll.
- Exposure to Sicorax HRMS will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong payroll experience with practical knowledge of WRA, RO, PAYE, and PRGF.
- Good grasp of payroll procedures and taxation principles.
- Ability to stay effective in a busy environment while working with limited supervision.
- High level of accuracy and strong ability to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with good interpersonal and communication skills.
