Role overview
Smart Home Albania is hiring a Junior Economist in Tirana for an on-site, full-time role. The position focuses on day-to-day financial recording, reporting, reconciliations, document control, and support for fiscalization and tax-related procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Enter purchase and sales invoices into the Financa 5 accounting system.
- Help prepare daily and monthly financial reports.
- Support reconciliation work for bank accounts, cash balances, and warehouse stock.
- Organize financial paperwork and ensure it is properly filed and archived.
- Assist with fiscalization tasks and tax declarations under the direction of the responsible economist/finance specialist.
Requirements and qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is required.
- Very strong working knowledge of Financa 5.
- Basic understanding of financial and fiscal legislation.
- Good organizational ability, attention to detail, and accuracy in work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate well within a team.
- A degree in Finance or Accounting.
- At least 1 year of work experience in a comparable position.
- Strong command of Financa 5 and MS Excel.
- Basic knowledge of tax and fiscal law.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach.
