Role summary
In this full-time, on-site position in Kochi, you will assist with day-to-day café operations. The job involves preparing and serving traditional Indian coffee and other drinks, supporting simple food prep, keeping the work area tidy, greeting customers, taking orders, processing payments, and delivering friendly service. You will also be expected to learn the café’s house brewing methods, maintain food safety and hygiene practices, and replenish supplies when needed. Depending on business requirements, the schedule may include shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
What the role involves
- Prepare and serve Indian coffee and other beverages.
- Help with basic food preparation tasks.
- Welcome guests, record orders, and handle billing or payments.
- Keep the counter, equipment, and workspace clean and organized.
