Role overview

Delta Hotels and Resorts is hiring an IT Specialist to support day-to-day technology operations at the Jeddah property. This role focuses on keeping systems, devices, networks, and user accounts running smoothly while delivering dependable technical support to hotel teams and protecting company assets and information.

Key responsibilities

The position involves working with other information systems staff to identify and resolve issues affecting software, hardware, internet connectivity, peripherals, and general computer systems. You will also assist with server support, network communications, system maintenance, backups, user access administration, workstation setup, and technical troubleshooting.

• Follow company policies and procedures while safeguarding company property and information.
• Support guests’ service needs and coordinate information with other team members through electronic devices.
• Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and service partners.
• Troubleshoot issues in software, systems, internet access, hardware, and peripheral equipment.
• Escalate major faults or defective equipment to vendors or technicians when needed.
• Investigate program errors and correct issues or stop the program if required.
• Operate computer and peripheral equipment through commands and controls.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose computer equipment and systems.
• Track inventory of technology devices.
• Support computer networks, server systems, and related software.
• Assist with network communications and technical architecture for hardware and telecommunications connectivity.
• Perform backups and help maintain hardware and software.
• Provide support to end users and manage user accounts, including setup, deletion, and password resets.
• Install, configure, and update workstations, cables, desktop computers, laptops, docking stations, and printers.
• Use technical manuals, user discussions, and diagnostics to resolve technical problems and provide assistance.
• Secure backup media and computer/telephone rooms.
• Educate users on procedures for protecting personally identifiable information.
• Carry out other duties assigned by supervisors.

Working conditions

This is a full-time, non-management position located at 3243 Al Salam Street, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role is listed as not remotely worked. The job may require moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred qualifications

The employer prefers candidates with a high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least one year of related work experience. No supervisory experience is required, and no license or certification is needed.
