Role overview

The organization is looking for a driven Analyst to join its Flashpoint Secondary Fund, which is dedicated to direct secondaries. The fund focuses on growth-stage technology companies at Series B and beyond, acquiring shares from current shareholders such as founders, former employees, and early investors.

What you will do

• Build and assess financial models, perform valuation work, and handle related analytical tasks, including ratio analysis and investment performance benchmarking.
• Develop, check, and validate financial models.
• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities across different sectors.
• Research technology companies at the later growth stage.
• Prepare materials used in internal investment review and investment committee processes.
• Support commercial, financial, and legal due diligence, along with business plan and contract preparation.
• Track portfolio company performance against budgets and plans.
• Attend management and board meetings from time to time.
• Review strategic and financial exit options and assess the future outlook of invested industries to support profitable exits.
• Monitor portfolio companies, maintain relationships, and organize information received from them, including board meeting updates.
• Prepare investor updates and portfolio reports.
• Support fundraising activities.

Requirements

• Strong written and spoken English.
• A university degree from a highly regarded institution.
• CFA qualification or a similar credential is an advantage.
• International exposure is considered a plus.
• At least 3 to 5 years of prior experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or a startup environment.
• Excellent analytical capabilities.
• Background in technology is beneficial.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Collaborative, open, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
• Energetic, results-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-moving setting.
• Genuine interest in technology investing, with solid awareness of the market, trends, and key players.
• Ability to deliver within set timelines.
• Comfortable speaking directly with senior leaders at portfolio companies or prospective investments.
• Self-motivated, commercially minded, and hardworking.
