Lenskart is expanding into a leading omnichannel eyewear business across Asia, and this position is central to strengthening HR operations as the company grows in Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, the role will support HR operational excellence for both Singapore and Thailand, with a strong emphasis on payroll accuracy, statutory compliance, governance, and process discipline.

Role Overview

The organization is seeking a highly detail-driven HR Operations Specialist who can independently manage end-to-end HR processes across Singapore and Thailand. The ideal candidate is someone who performs well in high-responsibility environments, takes full ownership of payroll and compliance tasks, and continuously improves systems, workflows, and documentation practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle the complete employee lifecycle for Singapore and Thailand, including onboarding, employment contracts, confirmations, transfers, and exits.
  • Maintain clean, accurate, and audit-ready HRIS records at all times.
  • Standardize HR processes across both markets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Ensure all employee documentation is completed on time and follows local legal requirements.
  • Stay fully aligned with employment laws and statutory obligations in Singapore and Thailand.
  • Independently manage relevant government portals, including MOM, CPF, and IRAS for Singapore, along with the appropriate Thai authorities.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and translate changes into updated policies and operational processes.
  • Keep documentation and controls in a state that supports audits and compliance checks.
  • Manage work pass and immigration activities end to end, including EP, S Pass, Dependant’s Pass for Singapore and the applicable visa or work permit processes for Thailand.
  • Process applications, renewals, cancellations, and related compliance checks.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with government agencies for these matters.
  • Own payroll execution for Singapore and Thailand, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Manage statutory filings, tax submissions, social security contributions, and payroll reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors and ensure service-level commitments are met.
  • Oversee benefits administration in line with compliance requirements in both markets.
  • Work closely with business leaders, finance partners, and regional HR teams.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and monitor the quality of their delivery.
  • Support audits, reporting requirements, and internal governance processes.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in HR Operations, ideally with exposure to multiple countries, especially Singapore and Thailand.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, statutory compliance, and employment-related obligations in Singapore; familiarity with Thailand is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a zero-error approach, particularly for payroll and compliance work.
