Role Overview

This position is for an experienced HR Business Partner who will support the Cybersecurity business teams by using people strategy to help achieve business goals, mission, and vision. The role sits within HR leadership and works closely with business management on a daily basis. It focuses on employee relations, conflict resolution, policy guidance, and practical solutions that strengthen retention and employee development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously improve employee relationships by understanding the goals and needs of the cybersecurity business.
  • Work with business and HR managers to support employee growth and retention through conflict resolution, legal compliance, and medical-related requests.
  • Investigate employee concerns in a timely manner, including pay issues, safety practices, workplace disputes, communication gaps, harassment, bullying, and policy interpretation.
  • Advise business leaders on HR strategy by staying aligned with changes in the cybersecurity market and evolving customer expectations.
  • Review existing HR policies and processes and propose fresh, practical improvements suited to a fast-growing cybersecurity environment.
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning for a blended workforce of contractors, service contractors, and full-time employees to match customer-driven priorities.
  • Share guidance on market-informed pay structures and career progression paths to help attract and keep talent.
  • Act as the connection point between the cybersecurity teams and the wider TTS HR organization, while representing the specific needs of cybersecurity employees.
  • Study workforce data and employee feedback to spot patterns that affect satisfaction and business performance, then recommend targeted actions.
  • Support the hiring process by drafting and updating job descriptions.
  • Apply a balanced and fair approach when resolving difficult employee relations and HR matters.

  • Experience ensuring employees and managers follow company policies, including paid time off rules.
  • Proven experience resolving complex employee relations and HR issues.
  • Experience communicating and implementing policies and procedures for managers and team members, including creating and delivering training.
