Role Overview

This Housekeeper position in Macclesfield is based at a nursery with space for 98 children. The setting is known for its caring team, varied learning resources, and convenient location near the outer edge of South Park, within easy reach of the town centre. Staff parking is provided at no cost.

The main purpose of the role is to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming nursery environment so that children, parents, and staff can enjoy hygienic and comfortable learning spaces.

What You Will Do

You will work alongside the nursery team to keep cleanliness and hygiene standards consistently high across the nursery. You will also make sure that all cleaning tasks are completed in line with health and safety procedures.

What We Are Looking For

No formal qualifications are required for this post, although previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to uphold high hygiene standards. A friendly attitude, reliability, and flexibility are also important.
