About Fussy
Fussy is a rapidly scaling personal care brand working to eliminate single-use plastic from bathrooms. Over the past four years, the company has grown strongly and is now looking for a Graphic Designer to join the marketing team and help support the next phase of growth. This position focuses on turning design briefs into polished creative work across multiple channels.
This is a great opportunity to join a scale-up during an important period of expansion.
What you will do
- Develop eye-catching creative assets for social media, email campaigns, websites, and wider marketing activity.
- Own smaller design tasks and projects from start to finish.
- Support the production of marketing collateral, including retail presentation decks.
- Maintain consistent application of brand colours, typography, and visual standards across all materials and channels.
- Work closely with the marketing team to help deliver campaigns effectively.
- Juggle multiple design requests from different teams and organise priorities well.
- Coordinate with the manager to track, manage, and organise incoming design briefs.
- Build strong layouts that follow good design practice.
What we are looking for
Fussy is open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds. To succeed in this role, you should bring the following experience and strengths:
- About 2–3 years of experience in a similar graphic design position, ideally gained in-house at a fast-moving consumer brand or while working closely with DTC clients.
- A very strong eye for detail.
- The ability to solve basic design problems and suggest creative solutions.
- Hands-on experience designing for email, social media, and web.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- A solid grasp of typography, colour theory, and layout principles.
- A commitment to consistency and high-quality design output.
- The ability to explain and defend design choices clearly.
- Comfort working independently with limited supervision.
- A proactive approach to feedback and practical problem-solving.
- Ambition and a growth mindset, with strong potential for development in the role.
Bonus skills
- Experience or familiarity with UI/UX, motion design or video editing, and Figma would be a plus.
What we offer
- The opportunity to contribute to Fussy’s mission of removing single-use plastic from bathrooms.
- Annual salary of £28,000 to £35,000, depending on experience.
- Hybrid working arrangement, with Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays spent in the London Shoreditch office.
- 33 days of annual leave, including flexible bank holidays, plus your birthday off.
- WellHub membership with fitness and wellbeing options to support physical and mental health.
- Share options after probation, allowing you to benefit from company growth.
- Gym membership.
