Frontend Web Developer - HTML, CSS

Role Summary

This contract role is for a Frontend Web Developer focused on HTML and CSS. The position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere. You will be supporting a client project that needs clean, responsive, and reliable front-end interfaces.

What You’ll Do

• Build and update front-end interface elements using HTML, CSS, and related tools.
• Create layouts that work smoothly across different browsers and screen sizes.
• Work closely with design teams to turn visual mockups into functional UI components.
• Improve front-end speed, usability, and accessibility.
• Take part in code reviews and help maintain front-end development standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with HTML and CSS, including semantic and well-structured markup.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Working knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS, or utility/framework tools like Bootstrap or Tailwind.
• Ability to use browser developer tools and debugging workflows effectively.
• Experience translating design files from Figma, Sketch, or similar tools into web interfaces.

Pay rate: $30 to $80 per hour
