Event Planner / Community Manager

Role Overview

The company is looking for an event planner and community manager to coordinate local events in Nigeria, build relationships with community stakeholders, and support event delivery from planning through to post-event review.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and manage between 3 and 5 local events scheduled from Q2 through Q4 2025.
• Develop working relationships with influencers, community leaders, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Handle all stages of event planning, on-site execution, and follow-up analysis after each event.
• Coordinate vendors and maintain the expected standard of event quality.
• Track event results, review the data gathered, and suggest practical improvements.

Requirements

• At least 2 to 3 years of background in event planning and offline marketing.
• Excellent coordination, organization, and communication abilities.
• Good understanding of the Nigerian local market and culture.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Hands-on exposure to influencer collaboration and event management tools such as Eventbrite and Trello.
• Prior work experience in Kenya or Nigeria, along with an existing network, will be considered an advantage.
