Role Overview
The Entertainment Coordinator will support two Comedy Development executives within the Universal Television Studio organization. This role also serves as a point of contact for communication between internal teams and outside creative and business contacts.
What You'll Do
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering calls, arranging meetings, booking executive travel, and preparing expense reports.
- Track submissions and keep department records and documents organized.
- Communicate regularly with members of the creative community.
- Research requests as needed and stay informed about industry movements, formats, talent, and the competitive landscape.
- Share materials with internal and external stakeholders while following strict handling procedures.
- Support other assistants in the department whenever coverage is needed.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience supporting a studio, network, agency, or production company in an assistant role.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Practical knowledge of Airtable, Adobe, Final Draft, and Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience using Canva or similar visual presentation/deck-building tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of the television development process and the major players in the industry.
- Comfort with reading and writing coverage for IP such as scripts, books, articles, and podcasts.
- Strong multitasking ability, organization, and time management in a high-volume environment.
- Flexible, personable, proactive, and highly detail-focused, with the ability to work with creative professionals and staff at all levels.
- Team-oriented mindset, willingness to help wherever needed, and a positive approach.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-moving, deadline-driven setting.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid role that requires being in the office at least four days each week. The company may update this on-site expectation at any time.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $56,000 to $60,000. The role is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and various discounts and other perks.
