About the Company
The employer is a major Singapore-based provider of integrated underground utilities infrastructure services. Its portfolio includes construction and upkeep of underground utilities infrastructure, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance, as well as asphalt pre-mix manufacturing and construction waste recycling.
Role Overview
This opening is for a driven Engineer Associate who wants practical exposure to project planning, coordination, and site operations. The role is designed as a six-month rotational programme, giving you the chance to work across multiple project functions. You will collaborate closely with project teams to support delivery, recordkeeping, and on-site execution while building hands-on engineering and problem-solving capability in a dynamic setting. Monthly sharing sessions are included to encourage learning, exchange of knowledge, and professional growth.
Project Management
- Support the preparation and coordination of project timelines so work progresses efficiently and on schedule.
- Track project status, costs, and key performance measures against planned targets.
- Assist with on-site coordination and execution of tasks to help projects move forward effectively.
- Help address site and operational challenges with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Draft progress notes, reports, and supporting documents for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain clear communication and respond promptly to project requirements.
- Maintain accurate project records and reporting across the full project lifecycle.
- Assist with tender preparation and pre-construction documentation to improve project readiness.
Operational Exposure and Development
- Learn and contribute to operational tasks across different project departments.
- Assist in rolling out operational procedures and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Take part in a structured rotational programme that offers exposure to several areas of project operations and helps strengthen practical expertise.
Safety Management
- Encourage and uphold safe working practices across site activities.
- Follow safety rules, regulatory obligations, and statutory requirements during field operations.
- Identify safety non-compliance issues, escalate them quickly, and support corrective actions when needed.
Qualifications
- A degree in Civil Engineering, or a closely related field, recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board.
- Fresh graduates and entry-level applicants are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach to working on site.
- A proactive, self-driven attitude and comfort working in a fast-paced environment where challenges are part of the learning process.
- Interest in digital workflows, modern project management tools, or using data to improve site operations.

- This role follows a six-day work week.
- The office is located at No. 3 Sungei Kadut Drive, Singapore 729556, in North Singapore.
